2010 Brings New Challenges to TLPT

More variety, more participants, more FUN! That’s what TLPT’s seconds season promises in 2010! 

TLPT proudly announces, the first TLPT Local Stars Invitational! The Local Starts Invitational Tournament is a series of no limit Texas Hold ‘em poker tournaments that tests all levels of No Limit Hold ‘em skill from full table to heads-up!

Starting in February 2010, registered league members will take part in the regular season, “playoffs” and ultimately culminating with best of 3 heads-up competitions to crown the first Local Stars Champion. To learn about the entire event format here. 

Date Set for 2nd Annual Heads Up Challenge

[Cary, NC 10/18/09]  With the Super Bowl only 111 days away, that can mean only one thing.... (well 2 things.) the Patriots are gearing up for a return bid... but more importantly, the 2nd Annual TLPT Heads Up Challenge is 110 days away!

This event will kick off the 2010 TLPT season, and pits 16 top neighborhood players against each other in a double elimination Heads-Up tournament.  Last Year’s Winner Jason Avery is ready to defend his title and runner Up Mike Blanchette is looking for revenge.
